Natalie Changuion

Physiotherapist

B.Sc Physiotherapy

The question I often get asked is "Why Physio? ". I chose to become a physio because I love working with people and most of all being able to assist them towards maximum health and function. I graduated in 2006 from WITS University and spent 2 years working in the public health sector. I developed a keen interest in sports physio and completed another year of studies in this field.

Most of my career has been spent working in outpatient practises and in 2020 I started my own practise in Waterfall Midrand. I believe in treating my clients holistically and love empowering my clients to take ownership of their own health and wellness. My other hat is that of wife and mom. I have been married for 17 years and we have a 7 year old son.

I love doing and instructing Pilates and finish off with this quote by Joseph Pilates "Change happens through movement and movement heals"

As a physiotherapist, I'm passionate about helping people regain confidence in their bodies, recover from injury, and get back to doing what they love most.

I'm continuously striving to learn more and improve my skills so I can provide meaningful, patient-centred care. I truly believe that movement is medicine, and every recovery journey deserves the right support.

Biokineticist

BSc(Hons) Biokinetics; BSc Sport Science

A Durban girl through and through, I am passionate about sports & exercise, & fascinated by the medical profession out of a desire to help people & see improvement in quality of life!

Biokinetics, as a profession, was a logical choice. It has enabled me to pursue my passion, and to help you! I graduated from Westville Campus in 2007, and have been working locally since then.

I love to travel, I love to run & I love a challenge. If not with a patient, you will find me barefoot, in Umdloti, with my husband & son, spending quality time together… running, riding or swimming. Or preparing for my next personal goal (maybe another Ironman event?!)
